j. CobiT Quickstart
CobiT Quickstart is a simple-to-use tool that will speed up the implementation of key IT control objectives. CobiT Quickstart was developed for smaller organizations, but IT managers of larger organisations can also leverage this tool to Quickstart the initial phases of a broader IT Governance implementation.
Description
CobiT is a comprehensive and complete set of resources, which contains the information that organisations require to adopt IT Governance and a control framework. Since CobiT Quickstart contains a subset of components and control objectives, it is an ideal guidance for IT managers of smaller organisations to implement IT Governance. It also facilitates the introduction of CobiT in larger organizations by making use of a customised and simplified subset of the CobiT components.
The objective of this training is to learn how to use the Quickstart, to make a first assessment of the maturity of the IT processes of an organization and to set priorities for developing the IT processes.
After this assessment, IT management can make use of the full CobiT or the CobiT Quickstart, depending on the size and criticality of IT for the business.
