c. SOA Governance and Best Practices
Many organizations are in the process of deploying Service Oriented Architectures (SOA). The reasons are obvious: SOA brings many benefits to organizations like increased flexibility and agility, cost reduction, speed of development, etc. However, to really gain the full benefits of SOA, it is essential to take care of the Governance of the Service Oriented Architecture. Without good Governance, the implementation of a Service Oriented Architecture will just lead to lack of reuse, increased support costs, non-compliancy etc. instead of the promised benefits.
Description
The objective of this course is to explain what SOA Governance is, why it is so important and how you can implement it in a straightforward and controlled way.
